My first post!

Time marches on and the seasons of life continually change.  I, for one, DO NOT LIKE CHANGE!  I like things to stay as they are.....comfortable and predictable.   For years I scrapbooked the traditional way, with stickers, markers, and gorgeous pages chronicling our family's adventures.  I got way behind, and I mean really way behind, a number of years ago.  Then Courtney started her blog and printed off beautiful hardback books and I thought, "Wow!  This is really a great alternative to scrapbooking, and I don't even have to do it!"  So I relied on my industrious firstborn to take that task over and she really did a great job of it for several years, including two beautiful books covering our two trips to China.  However, her life is becoming busier than ever with school and work, and I have been having members of my family start insinuating that I needed to start a blog to once again record the happenings in our family.  Me?  A blog?  But how would I figure all of that out?  That's change and I don't like change..................

So with two daughters at my side, nursing me along (making me feel like the aged parent), I now have a blog address, a header - thanks Rachel - and no excuse now not to record the events in our very busy lives.  And yes, we are so very busy, but these special times with three older children, one middle boy, and two tiny rascals are precious and must be recorded for posterity's sake!
