School is out, the wedding is over, and life is hopefully going to
be a bit more slow-paced. The grandchildren are here occasionally which
is always great fun!

The official wedding pictures from the photographer won't be ready for
several weeks, but I wanted to capture some of the fun moments that I got
on my phone, as well as from others.
We rented an AirBnB for all of us to stay in. It was nice and worked out
great for us to be all together!
We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at First Watch the next day, even though
the service was terrible.
Dennis and Courtney had a cookout at their house so we could meet
Dennis's family. It was great fun. Jonathan and David arrived later that evening, and
Rachel and Elenna came the next day.
On "Wedding-Eve" the men all went to get haircuts and shaves, while Courtney
and I buzzed around town doing last minute errands, including picking up her wedding dress!
The Celebration Dinner was held Saturday night, which included family, the wedding party, and
close friends. They had catered Taco Mama, which was quite delicious!
Courtney had a tribute to all four sets of grandparents, which was so sweet.
She also had it at the wedding venue,
All of us girls were back at the clubhouse on Wedding Morning for hair and make-up.
It was such a fun and relaxing time, and the two young women, Taylor and Emily, were not
only very talented, but very fun to work with!
We all got dressed and Sophie's husband, Stephen, transported us over to the venue.
Such a quaint bride's room!
The rest of the wedding prep is for another post!
The day after THE WEDDING was a relaxing one. All of us were flying to various
places the next day, including Courtney and Dennis, who were off to Jamaica!
The weather cooperated so we all headed over to the pool.
As expected, the four Krause boys had to get a bit competitive!
Isaac was on Jonathan's shoulders......
What a glorious day for wedding! The weather was beautiful, the bride
was stunning, and the groom was dashing.
We all enjoyed celebrating Courtney and Dennis's special day!!
Joshua had a birthday recently, and it's hard to believe he is already 16!
He had a great day with BBQ ribs for his main meal, followed up by
brownies and ice cream.
Then it was off to Youth Group and then we finally opened presents once
we got back home.
He's a die-hard Alabama fan, so he was especially excited to
receive a new t-shirt as one of his gifts!
His movie choice was "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" which we watched
the night before because of youth group.
All in all, a really great day for a really great son!
We love you, Joshua!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
