Christmas pajama pictures are a thing.
There is no way in the world I would get my family in matching pj's, but
Courtney and Rachel posted some very cute pictures of their festive jammies!
Pretty cute! Dogs and Kids!
It was cold! Bitterly cold with temperatures and windchills well below zero!
And we even had a little bit of snow on the ground to make it a white Christmas!
Definitely not the normal December weather......
This Weather Channel screen shot was actually from several days before Christmas.
It was so unusual I had to capture it. I want to remember this in July when
it is 98* and we are all suffering from the heat and humidity!
Isaiah 9:6
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
We celebrated Christmas with Rachel's family on the 17th to work with
David's schedule at the railroad. It was a sunny, but cold day and we had a great time
exchanging gifts and just spending time together!
I brought a felt Christmas book that had been passed down to Isaac and Joshua many
years ago. Kinsley really had fun putting the felt characters on the felt pages.
Okay, too much sun in the faces...........let's try the other direction!
Rachel didn't like that one either, so we went back inside.
I think that turned out really nice!
It was a wonderful day together!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Elenna put her faith in Jesus several months ago, and then on her own, said she
wanted to be baptized. She talked with their pastor, Pastor Bob, and then set the day for
November 27th. We drove to Aurora to witness this special event!

Kinsley - almost 2, certainly does love her uncles!
Sweet Nathan - age 3
Acts 2:38
And Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
service, but we gave Elenna her gift in the truck. We wanted her to
remember this very special day in her life!
Thanksgiving at our house was smaller this year, with just Rachel's family
joining us.........minus her husband, David. He has just recently started a new
job with the railroad had to work Thanksgiving Day. But we sent Rachel
home with lots of leftovers for him to enjoy!
We had a wonderful day! We have much to be thankful for, even in the middle
of difficulties that come our way!
