Mowing - It's That Time of Year Again!

 Everything is lush and green, which is absolutely gorgeous!

The trees are all leafed out, the flowers are blooming, and yes.....the

grass is growing at an alarming rate!

The boys, relaxing, after an afternoon of mowing.  They are a HUGE help!

Both boys have been getting practice on the ExMark, the zero turn radius mower.

We are loving all the beautiful grass and trees - so peaceful and serene.

Spending Time With the Grandchildren!

 We had the grandchildren for the day several weeks ago, and as usual, we all

had a marvelous time.  Lots of energy, smiles, and conversation!

Joshua and Elenna ALWAYS end up playing with the dinosaurs!

With the weather being so lovely, we spent quite a bit of time outside.

What a wonderful time we all had!

Next up is Joshua - 14 years old!

 Another birthday rolls around for Joshua at the beginning of May!

We cannot believe that he is 14 now!  How did that happen?

Joshua was blessed with many gifts - just some highlights below!

Isaac always wraps gifts in at least 20 plastic bags!

But it was worth the struggle!  LEGOS!!!!

Joshua also received an automatic card shuffler!

We had a great day celebrating all things Joshua.

He is feisty, studious, an avid reader, a great uncle to his nieces and nephew,

and we are so glad he's ours!

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY JOSHUA!!

Isaac's 15th Birthday!

Isaac turned 15 in early April - how can this be?

He had a really great day celebrating!  After church, we came home and grilled

steaks, even though the winds were really strong!

 

Isaac took a homeschool class this spring all about Rubik's Cubes.

He has become an expert, so he received three different styles!

Joshua blessed him with candy - always appreciated!

Courtney gave both boys an early present of a new football when she was here!

All in all, it was a good birthday for Isaac, and he was blessed with many gifts!

We also went bowling on a different day.  Everyone did better than 

the last time we went!

Issaac continues to live up to his name, "LAUGHTER"!

He's highly opinionated, a whiz with babies, loves basketball and football, has

an unbelievable memory..........

AND WE ARE SO GLAD HE'S PART OF OUR FAMILY!
