Grandma Love!

These boys crack me up.

They have such great imaginations and get to playing for hours, whether it's

basketball, Legos........or joining the sheriff's office!

Sisters!

These two girls - love them both so much!

They are 27 months apart and are as different as night and day.

At the end of April, Courtney invited Rachel out to Huntsville to celebrate her 26th birthday.

The girls had a GREAT time!

Of course, Baby Nathan had to go, too, and did very well on the airplane.

He looks happy to be in Huntsville!

Aren't they gorgeous? !!!

They drove to a beautiful vineyard to have a picnic and do a photo shoot.

Baby Nathan had to get in the pictures, too.  So cute!

This was a great getaway for Rachel, and these two sisters had a wonderful time.

Joshua Turns 11!

Another special birthday right around the corner!

Joshua is now 11 years old!

We had Elenna with us for several days because Rachel was in Huntsville visiting Courtney, 

and David was working.  So we were more than glad to have her visit us for another celebration!

Isaac and Joshua are both at the age that they really love giving gifts to others.  They enjoy

the buying and wrapping, and then seeing the joy and excitement when their gift is opened!

Joshua LOVES chunky peanut butter, but I rarely buy it.  So - an entire jar just for him!

More books!

A new Stanley thermos!  Joshua said it was his favorite gift!

It was a beautiful day outside and Elenna loved watering my rose bushes!

Joshua requested ham for his special birthday meal.

Joshua had a wonderful day of celebration!

We love you so much and can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for your life!

Celebrating Rachel!

We have four birthdays in a month's time.  It's a whirlwind of celebrations!

Next up was Rachel's 26th birthday celebration, and she and her family came out to the 

farm for a cookout.

As usual, I got some Elenna snuggles in during their time here!

Three Generations!

We blessed Rachel with some birthday surprises - Joshua gave her a pack of hand sanitizer!

Isaac bought her some wooden spoons!

I don't think Elenna is too thrilled with new Pyrex containers - but Rachel is!

Joe got his guitar out, as has been his custom for 26 years, and we all sang!

Love this Birthday Girl of ours!

When it was time for their family to go, Isaac helped get Nathan all situated in his car seat!

Easter - 2019

The Willcox United Methodist Church once again put on a performance of
Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper" for the Easter celebration.
It is a community wide event, and once again Joe was asked to participate.
He performed the role of Nathaniel.

All of the men involved did a masterful job at sharing from the heart "Is it I?"

Of course we did the obligatory coloring of Easter Eggs!

We also joined Rachel and the children at their Tucson church for a weekend Easter
Fun outreach.  Oh my, there were tons of people there to enjoy all of the fun activities!

Joshua accompanied Elenna in the Toddler Easter Egg Hunt!

Joe, meanwhile, took Isaac over to the rock climbing wall.  He wanted to give it a try!!

Isaac didn't make it all of the way to the top, but he gave it a great try!
Good job, Isaac!!

Meanwhile, I got to enjoy baby Nathan!  So sweet!

It was a wonderful Resurrection Weekend!

Sweet Elenna!

Rachel and David wanted to get out by themselves for a date, without a very very

chatty three and a half year old along for the ride.  Ha Ha!

So we had Little Miss Elenna for the day and we really enjoyed her chatty

little self - a win/win for all of us!

We finally got to have Isaac's special birthday meal: steaks, baked potatoes, strawberry

onion salad, pickled beets, and strawberry cupcakes.

The highlight of the afternoon?  A tractor ride with Grandpa!!
